Simply Start Decluttering: An Inspired List For How To Begin

I’ve met many people who are unsure where to start in their decluttering journey, and while there is no “right” way to start, I decided to make a list of ideas that may be helpful. This is not an exhaustive list by any means, as there are many more things we can do, but it’s a start. Start where you are, and based on your motivation, you may decide to do one thing a week or one thing a day. But the process is simple: simply start.

I’ve categorized items based on how I started to clean around the house. For me, starting in the kitchen was the simplest solution since it’s the heart of the home, and yet items aren’t as personal (clothes tend to be the most personal).
